After graduation I filled an LDS mission in Germany (Duesseldorf). I married Carol Daniels (OHS 72) in 1975. We have four children (Lane, Melissa Heather, and Caitlyn) and nine grandchildren. I graduated from Weber State College in 1977 with a degree in accounting. I worked in public accounting (Wiggins & Co.) for six years and one year with Intermountain Healthcare. In 1988 I completed a PhD in Business Administration-Accounting at the University of Utah. I was a professor of accounting at Utah State University for 30 years, retiring in 2017. Carol and I served an MLS mission to the California Fresno Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My main occupations now are babysitting grandchildren, family history research/writing, renovating my house, and recording music with one of my college dance-band mates.

I served an LDS mission in Germany-Duesseldorf shortly after my OHS graduation.  I married Carol Daniels (OHS 72) in 1975 and graduated from Weber State in 1977 with a BA in Accounting.  I worked as a CPA in public accounting practice for 6 years and for one year as a financial analyst for McKay-Dee Hospital.  After the later experience I decided to attend graduate school.  I completed my Ph.D in Accounting in 1987 and joined the Utah State University School of Accountancy faculty that same year.  I have been at USU for 14 years teaching and researching in the area of accounting information systems.  I was promoted to Full Professor in 1999.  I currently serve as Director of Graduate Accounting Programs and Associate Department Head.

Carol and I have three children and one grandchild.  Lane (23) just graduated from USU and took a job as a technical writer for a software manufacturer in Kansas City.  He and his wife have on child, our only grandson Dylan (2).  They just moved and we miss them a lot.  Melissa (21) was recently married and lives in Provo while she and her husband attend BYU.  Caitlyn (13) is our only child still at home but she does her best to fill the void left by the older two.  She is quite the sports fanatic and keeps her dad company at all the Aggie games.
